Flex Hybride Shields
Here they finally are! We’ve had to wait a long time for this beautiful addition, but the time has come.
The Elleebana Shield Collection is expanding with a third shield shape, and this is one you absolutely need in your shield collection!
The Elleebana Hybrid Shield, like its predecessors, features an anatomical design that fits perfectly around the eyelid. These shields are also made from ultra-soft silicone, allowing them to be used without glue on the underside.
So, what’s the big difference between the Hybrid Shield, the Flex Rods, and the Flex Shields?
In our previous blog, we explained the differences between the Elleebana Flex Rods and the Elleebana Flex Shields. Now, a third shield is being introduced with a completely new shape and its own unique effect.
A Hybrid Shield is, as the name suggests, a cross between a shield that provides a lift (Flex Shields) and one that gives a curl (Flex Rods), making it “the best of both worlds.”
We’ve cut this shield in half so you can clearly see its shape, and we’ve conveniently placed it next to the Flex Rods and Flex Shields for easy comparison. As you can see in the photo, this shield has a completely different design.
The highest point of the shield, also known as the apex, is positioned further forward in a Hybrid Shield than in a round or L-curl shield. Thanks to this unique shape, lashes are lifted but with a rounded finish.
Moreover, after reaching the apex, this shield does not curve back downward but continues straight up! This prevents lashes from over-curling.
What causes over-curling?
Over-curling often occurs when lotions are applied too far up, for example, beyond the apex on naturally curled lashes. With round shields, teardrop shields, or flat shields—because they curve back down—over-curling can happen if the lotions are placed incorrectly.
However, because a Hybrid Shield does not curve downward, over-curling cannot occur. After the highest point, the lashes will point straight upward instead of curling back down.
Additionally, a Hybrid Shield is suitable for EVERY TYPE OF LASH:
– Short / Long
– Downward-pointing / Straight / Naturally lifted lashes
